Hello and welcome to Kleinarl! At the end of the valley lies the Jägersee, and high above it the Tappenkarsee. Surrounded by plenty of kilometers of ski slopes, hiking and biking routes. Our names are Susanne and Stefan. Together we are the Taferner family. Parents of one daughter and owners of a small but charming apartment guesthouse right in the village center.
And just 150 meters from the Shuttleberg valley station (Kleinarl mountain lifts).
We would be very happy to welcome you in person soon. Our two alpine-style apartments and our deluxe ground-floor apartment with its own terrace offer you a relaxing winter or summer holiday in our village of Kleinarl with its 820 inhabitants.

Only 150 m from the valley station of the Kleinarl mountain lifts – Shuttleberg. There you will find two sports shops with ski schools and a restaurant. The entrance to the cross-country skiing trail in and around Kleinarl is right outside the front door. In summer, we are also the perfect starting point for numerous hiking and biking tours.
Within a 5-minute walk you can reach the village center of Kleinarl, where you will find several restaurants, a supermarket, and much more.
The hiking and biking routes in Wagrain-Kleinarl start directly in front of our house, as well as the access point to the cross-country ski trail that leads to the Jägersee. In winter, our house offers a secure ski storage room with a changing area and ski boot dryer. In summer, you can store your bikes or e-bikes safely in our house, including free charging facilities. Plenty of free parking spaces are available right in front of the house.

Dear guests,
Starting May 1, 2025, we will be offering you a free ticket for all public transport, whether bus or train, throughout the province of Salzburg in Wagrain-Kleinarl. The guest card, which is stored in the PIA (digital holiday companion), is also your free ticket.
The free ticket is also valid upon arrival in Kleinarl. Please use the pre-check-in link in your booking confirmation. You will receive the PIA and your guest card by email one day before your arrival.

In December, January, and March, we are pleased to offer discounted ski packages for the 2025/26 winter season (apartment including ski pass).
In December and March, a discounted ski package is available for stays of at least 4 days (minimum 3-day ski pass).
In January, a discounted ski package is available for stays of at least 5 days (minimum 4-day ski pass).
We would be happy to send you a non-binding offer. Please send us an inquiry with your arrival dates and the number of people traveling.
Your beloved bikes are safe in our building. We offer a locked storage room with code access, including free charging for your e-bikes!
The prices do not include € 2.30 local tax per person per day (children up to 15 years free).
We ask you to pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount when booking.
We accept the following payment methods:
Dogs, except fighting dogs, are welcome (additional € 50.00 final cleaning)
Our apartments are ready for occupancy from Monday to Friday and Sunday from 4 p.m. On Saturday from 3:00 p.m. We ask you to leave the apartment at 10:00 on the day of departure.
You are welcome to arrive earlier and store your travel goods with us, including use of the changing room. Please let us know your arrival time the day before.
Our cancellation policy:
Free cancellation possible 90 days before arrival. From the 89th day to 30 days before arrival, 30% of the total amount. Up to 7 days before arrival, 70% of the total amount. No-shows or cancellations within the last 7 days before arrival will be charged with 90% of the total amount. Austrian hotel regulations apply!
